An elderly woman driver was airlifted to hospital after a crash between her car and a tractor on New Road, Bromham, yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 1pm.
The 73-year-old female driver of a VW Polo had suffered head and chest injuries. Although the injuries were not thought to be serious, she was flown to the Royal United Hospital in Bath because of her age.
The driver of the John Deere tractor was uninjured. The road was closed for an hour for the recovery of the vehicles.
