Youngsters are jumping for joy at the vast range of activities on offer this summer as part of Malmesbury’s Participation, Health, Exercise and Well-Being (PHEW) programme.
Trampolining, horse riding, tennis, boules and walking are just some of the tasters that sports groups are offering to encourage more people to take up their activities as part of Wiltshire Council’s A Legacy for Wiltshire, following on from the success of the Olympics.
Malmesbury Bowls Club has further coaching days scheduled for August 5, 12 and 19 from 2.30-4pm. PHEW is organised by Malmesbury and the Villages Community Area Partnership.
Among the events still to take place this summer are yoga, sailing, bowls and bike rides.
