Devizes company Hart-beeps, which organises events for mothers and toddlers, has won a national award for its music and sensory classes.

Nominated by parents, Hartbeeps, which runs classes at the Wyvern Club in Church Walk, took the award for best national post-natal classes in the What’s On 4 Junior 2013 awards in Brighton at the end of June.

Organised by local mum Fran Phillips, with classes taken by Kirsten Wynne, Hartbeeps runs popular music and sensory classes from birth to four years old. Mrs Phillips said: “The sessions use state-of-the-art music technology, more than 100 original songs and sound effects as a platform for theatrical and multi-sensory mini productions.

“Sessions also include innovative and unusual props, puppetry, baby signing, dramatic play, dressing up and musical story telling.

“We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised in these awards, especially as we were voted for by parents.”

Hartbeeps is also organising a big summer party for children at Devizes Sports Club in London Road on August 5.
