Anyone who has fancied the life of a queen has the chance to experience it for a fortnight by attending the Pewsey Carnival royalty selection at Cooper’s Field on Saturday.
The winners of the competition to choose the prince, princess and flower girl, will receive a small prize, dresses and waistcoat.
The competition will be held from 9.30pm, with the queen receiving £150 and the two attendants £100 each as well as dresses. The queen and her attendants must be 14 or over by September 21. Princes must be between 11 and 14, and princesses and flower girls between seven and ten on that date.
