Simples steps were the route to success for Corsham’s ABC nursery, which has been praised in an Ofsted inspection.
The nursery, which employs 15 members of staff and cares for around 90 children, was deemed ‘good’ four years ago but has moved up two grades to the highest possible rating – ‘outstanding’.
Nursery manager Kim Drew said: “We’re extremely happy with the result.
"From our last Ofsted it was the outside area that let us down, but since then we’ve moved into a new purpose-built site, and we have been continuously thriving to do better in all areas.”
The nursery was inspected in early June, with top marks given in all categories.
The report says: “The leadership and management of the nursery are outstanding.
“The management team has high aspirations for continuous improvement and this underpins all aspects of care and education.”
Ms Drew said: “It’s all down to the hard work from all the staff. We’ve kept focused on improving the quality of provision we offer. The whole management team has done really well.”
The nursery celebrated the result on July 12 with an open morning for children and parents.
