THE Kings Arms in Calne has been placed on the market for £399,000.
The High Street pub is a Grade II listed building with a courtyard, terrace and conservatory, open fireplaces and a commercial kitchen.
Specialist property adviser Christie and Co has been instructed to sell the freehold interest on behalf of a corporate client.
Valerie Turner, of Christie and Co in Bristol, said: “The Kings Arms offers a vast amount of potential for a hands-on operator or managed house.
"The pub has, historically, been subject to rent and barrel ties therefore the freehold opportunity allows the business to achieve its true potential in this strong location.
“We are seeing better quality pubs coming to the market from corporate clients, and this is one example. Yet it still offers the opportunity to build an identity.”
