Gary Dennison from Corsham has been ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work after being found guilty of benefit fraud.
Dennison, 36, from Dicketts Road, was sentenced after Wiltshire Council found he had failed to declare two adults living in his flat for more than a year.
He was charged with making false statements to get housing and council tax benefits and failing to declare a change of circumstances at Chippenham Magistrates’ Court on July 4.
