For the second time in just a few months a Devizes-brewed Wadworth beer is taking centre stage in Strangers’ Bar at the Houses of Parliament.
Red, White & Brew, which is brewed by Wadworth in celebration of all things British, is the guest ale of the week at the bar.
Devizes MP Claire Perry went along to pull a few pints for MPs and their guests, who are expected to enjoy around 300 pints over the next few days.
Mrs Perry said: “I am delighted that Wadworth Red, White & Brew is a guest beer in Strangers’ Bar, the second time in just a few months that a Wadworth beer has been selected.
"I am always very pleased to support our local pubs and breweries, and getting our parliamentarians to develop a taste for Wadworth, as well as persuading the Chancellor to cut beer duty for the first time since 1959, will all help this important local industry.”
