The jury in the trial of Michael Chudley, who is charged with the murder of Devizes solicitor Jim Ward, has been sent out to consider its verdict.
Judge Mr Justice David Bean spent the morning reviewing the evidence that the jury has heard over the past seven days.
He particularly concentrated on the evidence of consultant forensic psychiatrists Dr Andrew Johns and Dr John Sandford who agreed that Chudley suffered from a paranoid personality disorder but disagreed that it comprised an abnormality of mental process that constituted his being not guilty of murder due to diminished responsibility.
Chudley has already pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
