After a successful inaugural event last year, fundraising festival Mantonfest is getting ready to rock again.

Music lovers will be treated to a variety of talented artists and bands, all with Wiltshire connections, including sets of blues, indie, pop and rock covers and original material.

Twelve acts have been confirmed including returning artists Jo Peskett, folk artists The Yirdbards, Skedaddle and last year’s headliners Straight Six. There will aslo be some fresh faces with Josie and the Outlaw and Mother’s Jam confirmed.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, June 29, at the Manton Grange water meadows in Preshute Lane and will run from noon to 10.30pm with money raised going to Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Manton Village Hall.

Music director Stuart Whant said: “Mantonfest 2013 will be small enough to be intimate, but big enough to be professional.”

Tickets are on sale at www.mantonfest.co.uk or from Sound Knowledge in Marlborough.
