After a successful inaugural event last year, fundraising festival Mantonfest is getting ready to rock once again.

Music lovers will be treated to a wide host of talented artists and bands, all with Wiltshire connections, including sets of blues, indie, pop, rock covers and original material.

Twelve acts have been confirmed including returning artists Jo Peskett, folk artists The Yirdbards, Skedaddle and last year’s headliners Straight Six.

There will aslo be some fresh faces with Josie and the Outlaw and Mother’s Jam also confirmed.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, June 29 at the Manton Grange water meadows in Preshute Lane and will run from noon to 10.30pm with money raised going towards Wiltshire Air Ambulance and the Manton Village Hall.

Music director Stuart Whant said: “The event is all about putting the fun back in fundraising.

“Mantonfest 2013 will be small enough to be intimate, but big enough to be professional.”

Festival goers will be treated to a selection of ales and soft drinks, a hog roast, Pimms tent, a bouncy castle for the children, burger bar, free car parking and people are permitted to bring their own picnic baskets.
