Children at Langley Fitzurse Primary School may have looked like they were walking backwards, but they are now £85 further forward in their fundraising drive.
Most of the 97 pupils at Kington Langley wore their clothes back to front for the day to raise money for an improved playground.
The PTA wants to resurface the current dark green playground with bright colours and put in new equipment such as poles and swings.
Parent governor Adrian Beeby said: “It’s ageing now, it must be 15 to 20 years old.
“We want to make it more attractive and up to date. The PTA is trying to raise £2,000, though the project is going to cost several thousand more than that.
“The kids loved being dressed back to front for the day, it was something a bit different.”
