Bollywood glamour and glitz has arrived in Chippenham.
Dancers of Chippenham, at Cricketts Lane Industrial Park, has introduced three classes in the smooth moves made famous in Hindi movies.
Adults can experience the sultry dance style on Tuesday nights at 7pm, while children from age 11 can try it on Mondays at 6pm.
Children from age six can take classes in Kathak, a dance style from Northern India, on Saturdays at noon.
Studio owner Ann Blake said: “We were keen to expand our range of dance styles. It’s quick to learn and has some similarities to belly dancing, Zumba and ballroom dancing, but is something a little out of the ordinary.”
The classes will be taught by a former student at the studio, Naomi Morgan, who said: “You can express yourself through all the different moves.”
Dancers of Chippenham also have Scottish and Irish classes alongside ballet, modern, ballroom, Latin, tap and hip-hop.
