Police believe a body found in a river this morning is that of 76-year-old Greta Wiltshire, who went missing from her Bradford on Avon home yesterday.
Her disappearance sparked a major hunt. She was found in the river near Greenland Mills.
She went missing from her home at 11.20pm. Police said she was wearing a nightie.
Mrs Wiltshire's body has yet to be formally identified. Police have informed the Coroner. There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
Police have thanked the public for their help. The search was also aided by Wiltshire Search and Rescue.
