Corsham school children got musical when they held their first ever Corsham Jambor-Glee event at Bath Forum last Thursday.
There were 183 pupils who performed, coming from Box Primary School, Colerne Primary School, Corsham Primary School, Corsham Regis Primary School, Lypiatt Primary School, Neston Primary School and St Patrick’s Primary Schools.
They sang a full set of songs, inspired by the TV show Glee, in front of family and friends. Head-teachers and staff from the schools also performed a version of the song Stand By Me, which they had been secretly rehearsing.
St Patrick’s School headteacher, Rita McLoughlin, said: “We are already making plans to hold this event again next year.”
