WILSON Margaret It is with great sadness that Margaret Wilson sadly lost her battle with cancer on the morning of the 3rd of April 2024, she was just shy of her 81st birthday. Margaret was a fighter, her Glasgow spirit continued to remind the cancer that it wasn't in for an easy ride with her. Margaret was a widow, her husband Jimmy passed away 22 years ago, she leaves behind 3 sons, 7 grandchildren and just narrowly missing seeing her first great grandchild. Originally from Glasgow, Margaret married Jimmy who was a soldier, they were posted to many places including Hong Kong and Germany. Margaret settled in Devizes with Jimmy who was the last Regimental Sergeant Major of 9 Ordnance Support Battalion in the town. Margaret also lived in Yatesbury and Calne for many years before coming back to live in Devizes again. Margaret's funeral will take place at North Wiltshire Crematorium in Royal Wootton Bassett on the 15th April 2024 at 3pm, all who knew Margaret are most welcome.
