Unacceptable move
IT is totally unacceptable for Wiltshire Council to allow McCarthy & Stone to break a legal agreement without penalty. The town is thereby cheated of a chance to develop some badly needed affordable homes for first-time buyers.
Councillor Sturgis refers to “new guidelines”. What are these? Do they put McCarthy & Stone above the normal laws of contract?
