Grease is the word! Now it’s coming to Melksham, with Melksham Music and Drama bringing it to the Assembly Hall stage from September 18-20.
This is THE original high-school musical, featuring everyone’s favourite characters. Pip Knowles stars as Danny with Charlotte Brixton as his sweetheart Sandy. The show also has the groovy T Birds, the sassy Pink Ladies and the rest of the gang fron Rydell High. Come along to hear all your favorite singalong hits including You’re The One That I Want, Greased Lightnin’ and many more. Melksham Music and Drama were founded in 1969 and have a reputation for their great performances, costumes and sets making the shows a visual masterpiece and fun for the whole family.
Grease has proved that a musical love story, bursting with denim, cheerleaders, slick hairstyles, rock ’n ’roll, 1950’s pop culture and an irresistible mix of teenage angst and young romance is timeless and universal.
