KFC in Chippenham will open "very soon", it has been promised.
Previously, the fast food company had hoped to swing open their doors by March.
Work is underway at the new development, at Bath Road, and we asked KFC when the new opening date would be.
But a KFC spokeswoman responded: “Here we come Chippenham!
"We’ll be winging our way over to you very soon and we can’t wait to settle into our shiny new coop – watch this space for more updates.”
They have been contacted again for estimated timeframes.
Documents show that around 50 car parking spaces will be created at the site, including four disabled parking spaces, three designated drive-thru large order waiting spaces and 10 covered cycle stands.
The new KFC will generate nearly 60 new jobs.
