Speeding indicators are to be brought in to help slow down motorists in Avebury.
The parish council ran an online petition asking for views on how best to slow traffic driving through the world heritage site.
The village will now get a speed indicator device which will monitor traffic going through the village on the A4361.
The device will be funded half from cash allocated by the Marlborough Area Board and half from the council coffers.
It will move between locations for southbound and northbound traffic, both at or near the start of the 30mph zones on entering the village.
