Marlborough's Christmas lights are on but without the usual switch-on event due to Covid restrictions. But all things Christmassy have been happening anyway.
An 18 meter tree arrived and was put in place at The Green with the help of TH White and the big switch-on went online instead.
The final touch came on Monday with the Rotary Club's Christmas tree going up in the High Street.
"As soon as national restrictions allow there's now a festive feel through the town for Christmas shoppers and our fabulous businesses will be ready to welcome you," said the council.
