Here are some of the recent cases heard before Swindon and Wiltshire magistrates courts.

CORSHAM: Patrick Wyles, 48, of Moor Green has been disqualified from driving for two years after admitting being over the limit. He was fined £660 and told to pay £85 costs.

HILPERTON: Armands Burkevics, 18, of Navigator Close has pleaded guilty to attacking a man, along with a 17-year-old accomplice.

He pleaded guilty to stealing a mountain bike, carrying a metal bar and five grams of cocaine. He was remanded on bail for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

DEVIZES: A 65-year-old sex offender from Oak Lane, Easterton, has been remanded on bail after pleading guilty to failing to comply with notification requirements. Paul Andrew Tyrer did not notify police of the details of four bank cards within three days of their receipt.

TROWBRIDGE: Kieran Reilly, 24, of Aldeburgh Place, who denies beating up a woman had his case dismissed as no evidence was offered. Magistrates placed a restraining order on him preventing contact with the woman. He pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis and was fined £184.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: 18-year-old Charlie O Brien of Windmill Road changed his plea to guilty for driving without due care and attention and was fined £123 along with a three-point licence endorsement.

WARMINSTER: Kayleigh Croylam, 27, of Boreham Field has been fined £220 for not having a valid train ticket at Westbury station.

WARMINSTER: Jonathon Randall, 37, of Westleigh was fined £220 for not having a valid train ticket at Westbury station.

TROWBRIDGE: Oskar Szpunar, 25, of The Halve was fined £220 at Bristol Temple Meads for not having a valid train ticket.

CHIPPENHAM: Jake Andrew Clark, 23, of Portway denied failing to attend a community order for unpaid work and failing to provide a reasonable excuse. The offence was withdrawn at the request of the probation service.

DEVIZES: Lewis Frost, 26, of Morlich House admits breaching his bail conditions, namely not to attend Esso Roundway Service Station in London Road and stay under curfew between 2200 and 0600. Bail conditions have been renewed.

CHIPPENHAM: Bradley Massey, of Charter Road, denied failing to comply with a community order required of a suspended sentence by failing to attend a supervision appointment. The offence was withdrawn at the request of the probation service.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Joshua Phillip Bray, of Fairfield, appeared before magistrates charged with beating up a man and a woman and to damaging a car. The 22-year-old denied all the charges and the case was discontinued. Nicholas Bray, 23, of Barnard Street faced the same charges which he denied, and which were also discontinued.

WARMINSTER: 38-year-old Garry Cooper, of Highbury Park, pleaded guilty to threatening to damaging a police car, assaulting a police officer, threatening another office and carrying an offensive weapon.

He was bailed while the case is adjourned to tie up with other cases, but put under curfew between 9pm and 6am and electronically tagged. He denies attacking a woman in Melksham and has been bailed on the same conditions along with being told not to contact with woman.
