A decision on the planned transformation of a town centre brewery into 101 new homes has been delayed.
Wiltshire Council had been due to deliver its verdict on a proposal for the redevelopment of Wadworth’s former Northgate Brewery site, in Devizes, by Wednesday, April 24.
At the time, the council said the application was pending determination, and a decision was unlikely by the allocated deadline.
Now a new decision deadline of Wednesday, June 5 has been set.

Developer Backhouse Housing originally submitted its plans for the historic former brewery in May last year, while Wadworth moved to its new purpose-built site on Folly Road.
But an altered scheme was put forward in January after Devizes Town Council, residents, and other interested parties raised concerns about the designs.
These criticisms ranged from the impact of the development on the nearby Assize Court to fears about increased traffic in an already congested area.
Stuart Walter, senior land and planning manager at Backhouse, believes the revised plans have addressed these issues.

If approved, the scheme would see the new homes created alongside retail, community, and workshop spaces.
The development would retain the Grade II listed brewery tower but would see the demolition of the more recently built industrial sheds.
