Swindon Town remain on the hunt for another attacker to add a tenth new signing to their summer business in the final days of the window.
The arrival of Jack Thomson fills one of the two holes that Ian Holloway wanted to address in the transfer market, but they remain in pursuit of another attacker.
Swindon have been in talks with Burton Albion about Kain Adom, Danny Butterworth has continued to train with the club in an attempt to prove his fitness, and Ayman Benarous impressed on trial, but Town are continuing to look at other options.

Klaidi Lolos, Peterborough United
After joining Posh from Bolton Wanderers, based on a strong spell at Crawley Town, Lolos has never really established himself as a regular contributor at London Road, which saw him head back to Crawley on loan last season, and he is yet to even be part of a matchday squad this year.
The six-foot-two forward is more of a striker, but is comfortable playing as an attacking midfielder and off the left, giving him the versatility that Holloway tends to like. He is a natural goalscorer, which Swindon do not necessarily have beyond Aaron Drinan, so his ability to get into the box would help here.
He also has the kind of dribbling ability that Holloway likes, ranking in the top 15 per cent for successful dribbles per 90 minutes in League Two during his loan at Crawley last year, where he was also creating 0.75 chances per 90 in a team that was struggling greatly with the ball.
Chem Campbell, Stevenage
In Swindon’s current arsenal, Joseph Hungbo is probably the only natural wide man, and Campbell would provide another option like this.
After 13 starts in League One last season, he has not been in a matchday squad so far this season, which would likely make him available for a move down to League Two. All of his experience to this point has been in the third tier, so dropping a division could unleash him, especially considering his best season saw him score seven and assist four for Reading in 2024/25.
A touchline-hugging winger, he also likes to get at defenders, completing 1.39 dribbles per 90 minutes last season, which makes him a welcome option alongside Hungbo. But what would be most useful is his work without the ball, where he was in the top ten per cent of League One wingers for the number of balls won in the final third last season.
Also, possibly most importantly, he is a former Wolverhampton Wanderers academy player, which has worked out well for Town in the past year with Filozofe Mabete and Fletcher Holman.
Glenn Middleton, Doncaster Rovers
Another natural winger, capable of playing on the left and right, Middleton seems unwanted at Doncaster, but could be a very welcome addition at Swindon to get at full-backs.
The former Scotland under-21 international only started 15 times in League One last season, but he got six assists across all competitions, as his willingness to get down the side and put crosses in became very apparent. He was in the top one per cent for successful crosses in the third tier last season, so between him and Hungbo, Drinan would be very happy.
He is less of a natural dribbler than Lolos and Campbell, as he is not blessed with blistering pace, but is a very effective chance creator from out wide, which would make him a useful club in Holloway’s bag.
