WILTSHIRE golfer Jake Bolton has been selected for England in the boys’ event at the Dutch Junior Open at Toxandria Golf Club next week.
Ogbourne Downs player Bolton is named in a six-player squad for the event in the Netherlands.
Angus Flanagan, Harry Goddard and Charlie Thornton are also selected in the boys’ side, with Nicola Slater and Amelia Williamson picked as the English representatives in the girls’ event played over the same course.
Bolton, aged 20, is a member of the England A squad and won the Hampshire Salver earlier this year.
He was also a member of the English team at this year’s Costa Bellena Octagonal match in Spain.
The Dutch Junior Open is a 72-hole stroke play event open to boys and girls aged 21 and under.
There is a cut after 54 holes, with the leading 50 per cent of players progressing to the final round.
