WILTSHIRE made it back-to-back wins in the Inter-County Team Championship at South West Week in Cornwall yesterday as they defeated Dorset 8.75-5.25 at St Enodoc in Cornwall.
Paul Green's side, who lost their opening match of the week against Gloucestershire on Sunday before defeating Devon on Monday, were in control after the morning singles matches, in which Jack Charman (North Wilts), Jake Bolton (Ogbourne Downs), Simon Futcher (Marlborough), Tom Law (Broome Manor) and Garry Slade (Bowood) all clinched victories.
Green (Marlborough) and Law and Bolton and Ali James (Cumberwell Park) then clinched victories in the afternoon foursomes, Gorman and Slade earning a half to help wrap up the win.
Wiltshire were back in action against hosts Cornwall today.
