TROWBRIDGE Town Reserves boosted their hopes of beating the drop from Division One after their 4-1 success at fellow relegation battlers Calne Eagles, who despite the loss remain two points clear of their rivals in the battle to stay in the division.
Nick Mead and Bradley Arberry’s effort from inside the area gave Trowbridge a 2-0 interval lead.
Dexter Chipeni headed in to give Town a 3-0 advantage on the 3G pitch at Beversbrook and although Karl Sharratt pulled a goal back for Calne it was just a consolation as a second from Nick Mead wrapped up the important three points for Trowbridge.
