MELKSHAM Town and Bradford Town continued their push for honours in the Toolstation League Premier Division on Saturday as both claimed victories.
Melksham left it late to see off Hallen, scoring three times in the final 10 minutes to stay fourth in the table, Luke Ballinger's free kick being deflected home by a Hallen defender for the opener on 82 minutes.
Three minutes later Gary Higdon doubled the advantage and Jamie Lyons wrapped up the points with the third late on.
Bradford clinched a priceless 1-0 win at Wellington as Sam Jordan notched a late winner in Somerset.
In the First Division, Devizes Town were among the goals in emphatic fashion at local rivals Warminster Town, winning 7-3. Rob Mitchell netted a hat-trick for the visitors, Jack Hopper adding a brace and Matt Russell and Jay Walters also on target.
Will Thomson netted for Chippenham Park, but the home side also had Matt Mead sent off as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Malmesbury Victoria.
Jamie Jordan netted a second-half hat-trick and Dan Kovacs added a brace as Westbury United thrashed Corsham Town 5-0.
Calne Town were beaten 2-0 at Oldland Abbotonians.
Royal Wootton Bassett Town made it back-to-back Hellenic League Premier Division wins as Harvey Scholes’ second-half strike secured Rich Hunter’s side a 1-0 success away at Ascot United.
In Division One West, Pewsey Vale suffered a 3-0 defeat to Shrivenham, for whom Robbie Hendry, Tyler Sheppard and Jamie Prictor netted.
