THE Saddlebacks make it two wins on the bounce with victory over Oakmeadians in Southern Counties South The smaller home pack were outmuscled in the early stages and, when Andy Thompson’s kick was charged down, Oakmedians grabbed the lead with a converted try.
Devizes got on the board when Julian Taylor anticipated a lineout overthrow to storm over.
Thompson booted two penalties to give the hosts the lead and a second try followed when Steve McCraith finished a well-worked backs move.
The home side spurned further chances in teh second half before McCraith scored his second following good work by scrum-half Tom Collins.
Home sub Jake Richardson was sin-binned, but Devizes repelled further Oakmedians efforts.
