Under 9 Blue

MELKSHAM Town Saints went 2-0 up at the break through Tom Jones and Lucien Calkin in their home game against Trowbridge Wanderers. Wanderers pulled one back through Jack Brewer but a third for the Saints in the final minute secured their victory.

Warminster Highbury ran out 3-2 winners away to Trowbridge Town Youth. Samuel Robbins and Harry Box scored for Trowbridge.

Under 9 Green

Trowbridge Town Youth B held out for a 1-0 home win against AFC Corsham. Ryhs Fricker scored for Trowbridge.

Bradford Town Youth saw a convincing 14-0 home win against Chippenham Town Youth Blue with goals from Hayden Barton (4), Kofi Sawyer (3), Ross Gilbert (2), Harry Fordred (2), Sam Philips, Fred Oliphant and William Eamer.

Under 9 Orange

WESTBURY Youth and visitors White Horse Juniors cancelled each other out with a 2-2 final score. Tom Bishop scored both goals for Westbury.

Under 9 Purple

TROWBRIDGE Wanderers took an early lead against Trowbridge Town Youth through Tyrel Graham. Town pulled one back on the stroke of half time through Harry Bodymore. A further goal from Bodymore put town in the lead before Jamie Phillips secured the win.

A good opening ten minutes saw Melksham Town Robins go into a two goal lead against Devizes Town Youth B with a goal apiece from Ryhs Kemish and Brandon Mills.

Devizes battled back into the game and were rewarded with an excellent strike from outside the box to bring the score to 2-1. From the restart Melksham quickly regained their two goal cushion with a well taken goal from Kemish. Both teams competed well and the score at half time was 3-1 . Melksham piled on the pressure in the second half and were only denied further goals by some great goalkeeping. A well struck free kick by Luke Wilkins made it 4-1 which despite a brave effort from the Devizes keeper just crept over the line. After more pressure Melksham sewed the game up with a fifth and a hat trick for Kemish.

MELKSHAM Town Youth Magpies held home side Devizes to a 0-0 score line in the first half but took the advantage early after the restart through Alan Hughes. Despite efforts to further their lead Devizes equalized ending the game level at 1-1.

Under 10 Blue

WHITE Horse Dynamos had the perfect start going 2-0 up in the first five minutes against Larkhall Athletic with goals from Robin Batson and Jake Brand. Larkhall hit back with goals from George Butler and Joe Lindsay to set up a nail-biting final ten minutes. Thomas Hatton's looping shot from near the touchline caught the Larkhall goalkeeper off his line as the ball landed in the back of the net. Just minutes from the end a great save from Jake Brand denied Larkhall an equaliser.

A brace each from Albert Clarke and Drew Tallentire with singles from William Bisset and John Jones gave home side Devizes Town Youth a decisive 6-0 victory against Trowbridge Wanderers.

Amesbury Juniors ran out 5-1 winners at home to FC Chippenham Jaguars with goals from Luke Greenway (2), Kyran Lewis, Nick Ware and an own goal.

Under 10 Green

MELKSHAM Town Youth Robins and Worton & Cheverell started their game a little nervously.

Melksham were the first to settle down and took the lead after a sustained period of pressure through skipper Daniel Cleverley. Worton responded well and for most of the first half there was little between the two sides. Sloppy Melksham defending let Worton in for the equaliser but served to wake Melksham up.

Just before the break a mistake in the Worton penalty area gifted a goal to striker Josh Dorsett to put Melksham 2-1 up at half time. After the break Melksham showed their potential with a bewildering five pass move straight from the kick off that but for a last ditch defensive tackle would have led to a great goal scoring opportunity. Worton responded emphatically with a breakaway solo effort to level the scores. Melksham finished the second half much the stronger team with wonderful counterattacking football mostly pivoting around man of the match Fraser Smith and skipper Daniel Cleverley. The Melksham winner scored ten minutes before the end of the game by skipper Cleverley appeared to break the moral of the Worton team and seal a 3-2 victory for the Melksham.

Solid team and individual performances from a Chippenham Town Youth White side fielding no substitutions gave Trowbridge Town Youth B a well deserved second win of the season. Fifteen minutes into the half Joe France's low hard shot from outside the box gave Town the lead. Just before half time Chippenham's George Cook scored to equalize. Town continued the strong defensive and attacking play in the second half and were rewarded with their second goal when Aaron Cockerill connected with a goal clearance. Five minutes later pressure from Cockerill in the Chippenham box forced an unfortunate defensive error resulting in an own goal and a final score line of 1-3.

Home side Melksham Park and Westbury Youth shared the spoils after an exciting game which ended all square at 4-4. Reece Edwards (3) and Luke Odam scored for Melksham with Jack Booth (2), Daniel Bodman and an own goal for Westbury.

Warminster Highbury notched up their second win of the season with a 5-3 away win against Bromham Youth. Joe Tinnion (2) and Kyle Smith scored for Bromham.

BRADFORD Town Youth Whites 5 White Horse Jnrs Flames 1 Bradford Town Youth Whites ran out 5-1 winners at home against White Horse Flames with a good all round team performance. Despite the score line the White Horse keeper had a good game. Bradford were 3-0 up at half time with goals from Felix Freestone, Ed Giles and Ali Short. James Hopgood and Tommy Mills scored after half time with White Horse pulling one back. Both teams put a lot of effort into the game which started in sunshine and ended in rain.

Melksham Park took a 1-0 lead in the first half against home side FC Chippenham Phantoms. Both sides found the back of the net twice in the second half leading to a 3-2 away win for Melksham. Joe Johnson scored twice for Melksham.

Under 10 Yellow In an exciting and friendly game visitors Trowbridge Town Youth took a 2-1 lead at the break against Bishops Cannings Youth. Shortly after the restart Bishops Cannings equalized then took the lead. Trowbridge fought back bringing the scores level. There was a final twist in the tail when the home side netted their fourth and the winner. Bishops Cannings saw all four goals from Liam Coles bringing his tally to seven goals in two games. The game was refereed well by Paul Saunders.

Chippenham Town Youth Yellow started well putting home side Bradford Town Youth Blues under early pressure and taking a 2-0 lead. Bradford bounced back and were level at 2-2 at the interval with goals from Ben Parlour and Jacob Smith. Bradford showed greater strength in the second half with Ollie Clayton-Smith running the midfield with good support from Ed Rolt and James Bennett leading to four more goals through Gus Wright, Tom Francis, Leo Robertson and a second for Smith ending the game at 6-2 to Bradford.

Larkhall Athletic started their season with a 6-1 home win against Melksham Town Youth Magpies. Sam Rose scored for the Magpies.

Under 11 Blue

ASHLEY Rendell gave home side Trowbridge Town Youth a 1-0 lead at the break in their local derby against Trowbridge Wanderers. A close second half followed with Town securing their victory with a second goal through Daniel Letchford with no reply.

White Horse Juniors dominated play in the first half of their away game against FC Chippenham taking a 5-0 half time lead. The second half saw Chippenham control most of the play scoring twice with one reply for White Horse to finish 6-2 winners. White Horse saw goals from Harry Bradford, Jemima Glover, Nick Newth and a hat trick from Jamar Young.

Under 11 Green

IN a hard fought game it was Trowbridge Town Youth that took early control against home side AFC Corsham with a goal through Lee Philips. Trowbridge failed to capitalise on a number of chances and with Corsham beginning to take control of the midfield they struck a well deserved equaliser from Alfie Cross to go in at the break all square.

The second half saw Trowbridge regain the lead with two goals from Jamie Mortimer. Corsham battled back with goals from Aaron Ward-Baptiste and Freddie Minter to finish the game all square. Well done to young referee Mathew Habgood in his first game in charge.

Under 11 Orange

ADAM Gerrard scored five of Chippenham Town Youths goals in their 10-0 away win against Castle Combe Colts. Chippenham also saw goals from Matthew North, Ryan Peck and a hat trick from Ben Pring.

Home side Westbury Youth and Melksham Park played out a wonderful entertaining game that was played at a frantic pace throughout and really enjoyed by all spectators. Westbury started the better with Drew Adams opening the scoring for Westbury before Milo Pearson equalised for Melksham. It was end to end but at half time it stayed at 1-1. Westbury came out very strong at the beginning of the second half with Robbie Wilson and Dan Precup making it 3-1. After a goal mouth scramble Callum Dunbar pulled one back for Melksham to make it 3-2. Callum Elkins was put through beating the Melksham keeper with a good finish to make it 4-2. Westbury thought they had the points in the bag but a frantic final ten minutes saw their lead slip away when AJ Hobbs and Jonathan Mead scored for Melksham to end the game level at 4-4.

Under 11 Yellow

HOME side Bromham Youth scored two break away goals against the run of play against Worton & Cheverell. After the restart Worton were back in the game when Jordon Wildman latched onto a through ball from George Akerman to score. In the dying minutes of the game Jack Francis equalized leaving the final score at 2-2.

Under 12 Blue

AFC Corsham's first home game of the season saw them take their chances well resulting in a 4-0 win against Warminster Highbury. Corsham started brightly with Harry Roberts and Jordan O'Dwyer moving the ball well down the left wing.

Josh Hard's pace was causing Warminster's defence some problems and he won a corner on eight minutes. Kalif Barnes' cross was powered into the back of the net off the head of Jordan O'Dywer for his second goal of the season. Warminster then began to put pressure on Corsham's defence which was well marshalled by Bradley Boyd and Daniel McCartan in the middle. Corsham's goalkeeper Adam Mitchell then had to be alert to balls played over the top. Corsham weathered the storm and extended their lead against the run of play. Josh May and Alex Bray exchanged passes and the ball was moved from left to right and Kalif Barnes shot in low from the edge of the area.

Corsham got a third before half time. Good work by Nick Richer put Kalif Barnes in space he cut inside and sent an unstoppable left foot shot into the roof of the net from twenty yards.

The game was finished off straight from the restart after half time. Corsham played the ball back to Nicholas Chandler who fed it through to Alex Bray who drew the defenders before feeding Josh Hard who calmly slotted the ball home from close range. Warminster threatened towards the end but some superb goalkeeping by Mitchell meant Corsham kept a clean sheet. Danny Clayton, Charlie Picton and Alex Bray all had good efforts for Corsham well saved by the Warminster goalkeeper.

Bradford Town Youth took control of their game against home side Chippenham Town Youth from the start with a super goal from Sam Pugh. This was followed by striker Ricky Hehir making it 2-0 and an own goal making it 3-0 at half time. The second half was made even more difficult for Chippenham when further strikes from George White, Charlie Clarke and a second for Pugh finished the game. Chippenham replied with a consolation goal leaving the final score 6-1.

Home side Castle Combe Colts took an early lead in their game against Melksham Town Youth but a well organized Melksham were soon back level before going on to lead 4-1 at the interval and 6-1 at the final whistle. Hayden Stevenson (2), Charlie Austin, Billy Cookson, Jordan Turnbull and Myles Woodward scored for Melksham with Tom Stratton scoring for Castle Combe.

Trowbridge Town Youth Tigers earned their first three points of the season with a 7-4 away win against Amesbury Juniors. Harry Beckley (2), Cameron Wisheart and Conner Harrington scored for Amesbury.

Under 12 Green

BEMERTON Heath Harlequins played their second Mid Wilts League game away to Amesbury Juniors and went home with a 13-1 victory. A tight first half saw the Heath lead by 3-1 but the second half was a different story as the Heath ran away with the game. Goals from Sam Harding (3), Sam O'Hagan (2), Russell Jones (2), Tom Spayes (2), Joe Perrett, Freddie Barton, Sammy Miller and Harry Richardson sealed the victory with Josh Whiteman replying for Amesbury.

FC Chippenham took a 6-1 lead at the break before going on to finish 7-1 winners in their home game against Melksham Park Youth. Chippenham saw goals from Hayes 1, Foard (2), Jones (2), Baker 1 and one own goal.

Under 12 Red

AFC Calne youth U12s took control against Warminster Juniors scoring twice in the first half through man of the match Cody Haines who looked impressive on his league debut.

Warminster Juniors played their way into the second half scoring twice before Caner Ozaka completed a hat trick to seal 3 points for Calne with a 5-2 final score.

In an evenly matched game home side Marshfield Juniors and Melksham Town Youth Reds saw a half time score of 2-2 before finishing level at 3-3. Marshfield saw goals from Keelan Finnegan and two own goals with Joe Sullivan and Cory Benham (2) replying for Melksham.

Trowbridge Wanderers 2nds ran out 5-1 winners away to Marlborough Town with Dan Willis scoring for Marlborough.

Under 12 Yellow

HOME team Malmesbury Youth raced into a 4-0 lead at the break against Pewsey Vale with goals from George Barrell, William Winterborne, Anthony Woolcock and Kieran Munn.

Pewsey were back in the game at 4-2 with goals from Frazer Parmenter and Zak Messenger but a second for Winterborne sealed the victory for Malmesbury.

Mere celebrated their first point of the season after finishing all square in their home game against Castle Combe Colts White. Sam Heywood put Combe 1-0 up in the first half but mid way through the second half Matty Nshora secured Mere their point.

Westbury Youth took a 2-0 lead at the break before going on to finish 6-2 winners against Dilton Rovers. Harry Page scored twice for Dilton.

Under 12 Blue

AMESBURY Juniors ran out 7-1 winners against home side Warminster Highbury after taking a 3-0 lead at the break. Max Betteridge scored for Highbury.

Matthew Stevens (2), Charlie Henley, Jamal Chevolleau and Conner Byrne all scored for FC Chippenham in their 5-1 home win against Trowbridge Town Youth. Mike Reynolds scored for Trowbridge.

Bradford Town Youth ran out 3-1 winners against home side Devizes Town Youth with Stephan Rossi scoring for Devizes.

Under 12 Red

PEWSEY Vale romped home to a 16-3 win against visitors Westbury Youth 2nds. Cameron Amor (8), Tom Pinder (3), Conrad Hewitt (2), Stuart Mashian, Chris Milne and Ross Campbell scored for Pewsey.

A closely fought first half saw Melksham Park and Warminster United Youth level at 2-2. The game remained all square until the last five minutes when Warminster netted the winner. Phil Curtis, Edward Stevens and Shaun Marlow scored for Warminster with Niall Orchard scoring both goals for Park.

Under 12 Blue

OTIS Young and Adam Mercer scored for Trowbridge Wanderers in their 2-2 draw against home side Melksham Park.

A close first half saw Devizes Town take the lead against home side AFC Corsham. Corsham replied before the break to bring the score level. Devizes made the most of their chances in the second half scoring a further four with no reply to finish 5-1 winners. Bradley Godridge scored for Corsham.

Warminster Highbury ran out 7-4 winners against home side AFC Calne with Mike Coulson scoring all four for Calne.

Under 12 Green

A HAT TRICK from Lui Pollastone and two from Matthew Cox saw Castle Combe Colts Black 5-3 away winners against Chippenham Town Rangers.

Westbury Youth ran out 8-3 winners at home to FC Chippenham Youth. Lewis Jordan, Chris Lanfear (2), Daryl Thompson (2), DJ Wheeler, Gavin Francis and Anthony Holton scored for Westbury.

Under 14 Red

MELKSHAM Park 2nds ran out convincing 16-1 winners away to Bradford Town Youth White with Lewis Heathcote (3), Ryan Williams (2), Jack Mumford (4) and Jake Adams scoring for Westbury with Gabriel Nathan replying for Bradford.

Mere FC took a 4-2 lead at the break against home side FC Chippenham 2nds. The second half saw one apiece from both sides to end the game at 5-3 to Mere. Josh Springett and Will Stevens (2) scored for Chippenham.

Derry Hill United made it two wins out of two after running out 2-1 winners away to Devizes Town Youth 2nds. Alex Owen scored for Devizes.

Under 15 Blue

CTC rued missing chances that would have put the game beyond the reach of South Newton & Wishford who equalised in the dying seconds. Good football and strongly contested throughout.

Trowbridge Town Youth made the most of home advantage taking the game to Castle Combe from the kick-off with striker Jamie Jordan in sparkling form. Good pressure paid off as Luke Fisher and Jake Hiscock dominated in midfield with a breaking ball finding Jordan who netted superbly to open the scoring. Joe Burrow's strike from distance managed to beat a diving Combe keeper to give Trowbridge a 2-0 half time lead. Town started the second half the stronger of the two teams, with Jordan popping up yet again to open the gap. Breaking free down the left Kurt James slotted a well weighted pass to Tom Mackinder, who slotted home with a powerful left foot strike. Jordan was on hand late in the game to grab his hat-trick and a home win for Trowbridge.

Under 15 Green

WINCANTON Town Youth ran out with only eight men for their debut match in the league at home to Worton & Cheverell.

Worton made the most of their three man advantage finishing 22-0 away winners. Josh Hand (2), Patrick Drewitt (3), Jake Roberts (2), Jamie Long (3), Scott Stroud, Jamie Wallen (3), Jake Moorehouse (4), Jordan Dixon (2), Johnny Cole and Dan Edmonds all scored for Worton.

In a more evenly matched game Trowbridge Wanderers took a 3-1 lead at the break against visitors Chippenham Town Youth. Chippenham fought back from the restart to bring the score level at 3-3 before Wanderers regained the lead at 4-3. Chippenham never gave up and scored an equalizer just before the final whistle. James Reeves (3) and Aaron Burbidge scored for Wanderers with Josh Fernandez 92) and Ryan Kubilius (2) replying for Chippenham.

Under 15 Red

AFC Corsham head up this division after two games after running out 14-1 winners away to Castle Combe Colts White. Corsham saw goals from James Goddard (3), Sam Vasey (2), Jack Vasey, Jack Payne (2) and a double hat trick from Lee Marshall.

Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds continue their winning ways with an 11-0 away win against Worton & Cheverell Black. Bradley King-Taylor (4), George Devitt and James Griffiths (6) scored for Trowbridge.

Under 16 Blue

After a close first half Trowbridge Town Youth went 1-0 up at home to Devizes Town Youth. Trowbridge sealed their victory with two more fine strikes in the second half with no reply to finish 3-0 winners. James Vince, Tom Bonser and Jed Osborne scored for Trowbridge.

Sam Barry put home side Castle Combe Colts Black 1-0 up in the first half against Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds with Richard Boulter doubling their score from the penalty spot after the restart. Trowbridge never gave up and were back in the game at 2-1 with a strike from Zak Manner. Further attempts to level the score were thwarted by the superb efforts from the Combe keeper.

MATTHEW Hanson and Luke Charity gave Salisbury United a 2-0 first half advantage against home side AFC Corsham. Daniel Purse put Corsham back in the game before Ricky Duncan regained a two goal cushion for the visitors. Corsham kept up the pressure and saw a second for Purse ending the game at 3-2 to Salisbury.

Home side Amesbury Juniors and Warminster Highbury had an eventful game which saw two penalties one broken wrist and two head injuries. All three injuries were accidental but did result in the players being taken to hospital by ambulance and a thirty minute hold up of the game. Highbury took the lead at 1-0 in the first half with Peter Hilliard equalizing for Amesbury from the penalty spot just after the restart. Highbury took all three points when they scored their second through a penalty to finis 2-1 winners.

FC Chippenham dominated their game against visitors Bradford Town Youth Blue taking a 4-0 lead at the interval before going on to finish 8-0 winners. Despite the score line Bradford battled on to the final whistle. Chippenham saw goals from Paul Cook (2), Mark Kimiec (2), Johnny Ingram, and own goal and one for birthday boy Gareth Cooper.

William Field and Sam Linzey gave home side White Horse Juniors a 2-1 advantage at the break. Alistair Bradley sealed White Horses victory with a third after the interval.
