STRUGGLING Corsham suffered their eighth defeat of the season as they lost by five wickets to Bath.

Visitors Bath won the toss and put Corsham into bat first, with Tom Bowler top-scoring with an unbeaten 54 late on.

Ashur Morrison was also not out on 36 while Sam Collier made 32.

Bath’s Lloyd Davies and Alex Muse both took two wickets each as Corsham ended their innings on 224-5.

Mike Smyth led the run chase for the away side with a knock of 68.

Davies hit an unbeaten 45 from 46 balls late in the day while opener Alex Barrow added 42.

Robin D’Souza claimed two wickets while Usman Sahar, Sam Mount and Bowler all took one apiece but it wasn’t enough to prevent Bath reaching 225-5 in the 45th over.
