POTTERNE finally got back to winning ways with a four-wicket victory over Swindon.
Graham Gaiger’s side had gone nine games without a win, with three matches cancelled and one abandoned, including last week’s clash with Goatacre.
Potterne won the toss and chose to bowl first, with James Page claiming three wickets.
Swindon’s Will Nichols made 49, while Liam Tucker and Jonathon Sore weighed in with 42 and 40 repsectively.
But the Potterne bowlers were on target, with Alex Hart, Jake Roberts and Rikki Jackson all taking two apiece as Swindon were bowled out for 226.
Ryan Higgins then led the way for the home side with an unbeaten 78.
Dylan Higgins chipped in with 31 while Neil Clark made 30 as Gaiger’s men reached 228-6.
Potterne go to Marshfield this weekend.
