MARLBOROUGH'S run of three straight victories was brought to an end by title-chasers Lechlade as they suffered a 61-run defeat.
The hosts chose to bat first after winning the toss and Matt Stringfellow smashed a hefty 117 off 123 balls.
Alastair Killham chipped in with 53 while Marlborough's Ben Head and Paul Stoddard claimed two wickets apiece, Lechlade eventually posting a formidable 262-8.
Head spearheaded the run chase with 66 but Nick Crabbe was closest behind with just 19.
James Richardson and Duncan Lorrain made 15 but Stringfellow and Ross Jeffels took three wickets each.
