DEVIZES Ladies made a fine start to their West Clubs' League North Division campaign by hitting their local rivals for six.
From the whistle Devizes took control and played a sound possession game.
A short corner was awarded within minutes and was converted by Laura Page.
Three more goals from newcomer Natalie Thomas followed through the first half, leaving Chippenham's defence overwhelmed by the attacking might of Devizes.
The second half opened with another quick goal following another corner, a superb straight strike from Xanthe Smith.
Devizes maintained their superiority and another goal for player of the match Thomas secured the victory.
