Adam Murphy has become the latest player to move between Swindon Town and Fleetwood Town this summer after a loan spell last term.
The midfielder has signed a six-month loan deal from Bristol City, with Fleetwood confirming the 21-year-old's move to the club from the Championship side.
Murphy joined Swindon on loan in September 2025, arriving alongside City teammate Jamie Knight-Lebel, gaining his first League Two experience. He made five appearances across all competitions before an ankle injury ended the spell early.
The Dublin-born midfielder made just one League Two start due to his commitments with the Republic of Ireland Under-21s and also the injury, which ultimately saw Ian Holloway end his stay in January.

Aidan Borland arrived to replace him, but Holloway was generally impressed with what he saw from Murphy, even if he was not able to make a big impression on the team.
Fleetwood will be Murphy’s next chance to build experience in the EFL after his short spell with Swindon, having previously earned his Championship move after impressing with his boyhood club St Patrick's Athletic.
In a rare move, he has only been signed on a six-month loan, but he will have the opportunity to earn a longer stay.
The 21-year-old came straight onto the bench for The Cod Army's 0-0 draw with Gillingham at the weekend, but was not summoned by Matt Lawlor.
This move is the latest in a series of deals that have seen Swindon and Fleetwood trade members of their squads from last season.
Matty Virtue was released by the Fylde Coast club last summer and joined Town, whilst Mitch Clark was on loan there last season before arriving at the Nigel Eady County Ground after leaving Port Vale.
Murphy has headed in the other direction, as has Jake Batty, who was released by Swindon at the end of last season following a six-month stay.
Batty and Murphy did not play together at Swindon, with the left-back arriving at the end of the January transfer window, which Murphy left at the start of.
The former Blackburn Rovers man is yet to make his Fleetwood debut, as he has missed the opening three weeks of the season through injury.
There will be a bit of a wait for the mass reunion for the two squads, as Town do not host The Cod Army until December 12
