Wiltshire golfer Laurie Canter will be playing alongside several superstars as he has signed with Majesticks Golf Club in LIV Golf.
Canter, who is based at Cumberwell Park near Bradford on Avon, is now teammates with the likes of Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter after being signed by the LIV Golf team for the 2026 season.
The 36-year-old is ranked number 60 in the Official World Golf Rankings and recently qualified for the PGA Tour with his seventh-place finish in the Race to Dubai Tour Championship as part of the DP World Tour.
He will make his first appearance for the team in February at the season-opening LIV Golf Riyadh presented by ROSHN Group event.

“The league’s growth has been remarkable, and my experience in the league has led me to become a more complete player and a multiple winner on the DP World Tour.

Majesticks Golf Club are one of the founding members of the LIV Golf League, the rival golf tour to the PGA set up in 2021 that is financed by the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia.
LIV Golf has 13 teams that are competing for both individual and team titles in events hosted around the world
Westwood, Poulter, and Henrik Stenson are their co-captains, with Sam Horsfield also part of the team.
