SWINDON Town will kick off the 2022-23 League Two campaign away at Harrogate Town on Saturday, July 30.

Scott Lindsey's men will end the season at home to Crawley Town on Saturday, May 6 after hosting Walsall on Boxing Day.

Swindon will make a long trip east to take on Colchester United on New Year's Day after playing Northampton Town at Sixfields on Thursday, December 29.

Town's first home game will see Salford City travel to the County Ground on Saturday, August 6 while Leyton Orient arrive on August 16 for the first Tuesday night league game of the season.

Swindon's closest away trip - Newport County - comes on Saturday, February 4 while the home game is set to be played on Saturday, September 10.

The furthest away fixture comes early for the Wiltshire outfit. Town travel to Carlisle United on Saturday, August 13 - the third League Two game of the season.

Prior to the Crawley game in May, Town end the season with two away games. Fans will experience AFC Wimbledon's new Plough Lane for the first time on Saturday, April 22 before the final away trip of the season comes in the shape of a trip to Crewe Alexandra on Saturday, April 29.

The two recently-promoted National League sides, Grimsby Town and Stockport County, will welcome Swindon to their home grounds within the first two months of the season.

Lindsey's men take on Stockport at Edgeley Park on Saturday, August 27 before the Robins take on Grimsby at Blundell Park on Saturday, September 24.

Double headers against Sutton United and Bradford City have been selected to be played on Tuesday nights this term, while Town's Easter weekend fixtures consist of a home game against Mansfield Town on Good Friday and a trip to Tranmere Rovers on Easter Monday.

November features just two games for Town currently with the first two rounds of the FA Cup set to be played on the first and last weekends, respectively.
