SWINDON Town has revealed its shortlist for the club's Young Player Of The Year award.

The winner, to be announced at the Official Supporters Club's End of Season Presentation dinner on Wednesday, May 4, will come from a list of seven current and former squad members.

Last season's Swindon Advertiser Swindon Town Player Of The Year, Akin Odimayo is the first man nominated.

Ricky Aguiar signed from non-league Worthing last summer, but his encouraging performances have booked his spot on the shortlist.

The final permanent member of the Town squad to be up for the award is Harry Parsons after becoming a regular part of the first-team squad during his first season as a professional.

Defenders Jake O'Brien (Crystal Palace) and Kaine Kesler-Hayden (Aston Villa) are the two loanee defenders to have been included.

Louie Barry (Villa) and Tyreece Simpson (Ipswich Town) complete the list as the pair of loanee forwards.
