SWINDON Town has announced the club's nominees for its Goal Of The Season competition.

Fans have got the choice of seven strikes from all competitions this season - three of which were scored by Jonny Williams.

The first option is Louis Reed's perfectly-struck free-kick against Crewe in the FA Cup first-round victory at Gresty Road.

The second is Williams' pure strike from outside the box against Sutton United during the 2-1 victory in London.

Ben Gladwin holds strong hopes of winning thanks to his sweet volley during the 2-2 draw at home to Rochdale in which Harry McKirdy claimed the assist with a cheeky back-heel flick.

Louie Barry's solo run and powerful strike during the 5-0 home win against Walsall takes the fourth spot.

McKirdy's memorable run and finish against Manchester City in the FA Cup third round is the fans' fifth option.

Williams has two further entrants - the first is his tidy finish against Port Vale following a lengthy keep-ball session at Vale Park.

The second - and final option - is the Welshman's powerful header at the end of a significant string of passes against Hartlepool at the County Ground.
