BRADFORD Town and Corsham Town moved up to second and third, respectively, in the Hellenic League Premier Division following wins for both last weekend.

The Bobcats were involved in a pulsating 3-1 victory away at Longlevens in which the hosts had two men sent off.

In a game where the referee handed out seven yellows as well as two straight red cards, Bradford’s Jacob Brown replied to Ethan Dunbar’s opener for Longlevens.

In the second half, George Box nudged Bradford in front before Harvey Baker sealed the result with the final kick of the game.

Corsham, meanwhile, squeezed past Chipping Sodbury Town thanks to Ryan Bath’s 43rd-minute strike at Southbank. Kieran Baggs’ men are three points behind Bradford having both played 27 games.

Elsewhere, Westbury United celebrated their Wiltshire Premier Shield quarter-final victory over Swindon Town with a 2-0 success away at Cribbs. Two late goals from Sam Jordan and Harvey Flippance secured all three points for Westbury.

Royal Wootton Bassett Town produced a notable result after beating Malvern Town 2-1 at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground. Chris Taylor’s early penalty was added to by Sam Packer in the second half, rendering Matt Turner’s equaliser just before the break meaningless.

Ross Langworthy scored the only goal for Fairford Town as Jody Bevan’s side beat Roman Glass St George 1-0 at Cinder Lane.

Calne Town lost 6-2 away at Hereford Lads Club despite goals from Oscar Webster and Declan McStravick.

Shrivenham lost 9-0 away to Brimscombe & Thrupp.

In Southern League Division One South, Melksham Town drew 2-2 away at Lymington Town after a mixed afternoon for captain Luke Ballinger.

The Melksham striker scored two - including one from the spot - before missing a late penalty which would have seen the Black and Yellows take all three points.

In the Western League Division One, Warminster Town surged to a 5-0 win at home to Bishop Sutton following goals from Owen Bartley, Lewis Graham, Martin Johnson, and Jack Miluk as well as an own goal.

Devizes Town lost 4-1 at home to Radstock Town - Matthew Lever scored Devizes’ consolation.
