Swindon Town player Anthony Grant has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The midfielder joined the club at the start of last season and made 30 appearances for the club.

At the end of the 2019/20 season, Anthony Grant was named the Swindon Advertiser's Player of the Season.

The 33-year-old was being tracked by a number of clubs after his contract finished at the end of last season.

One of those rumoured to be interested was Blackpool who have already signed former-Swindon attackers Jerry Yates and Keshi Anderson.

Grant said: "I’m excited, it’s been a few weeks but the gaffer knew that he had my word and now I’ve signed.”

“I was always going to come back. I’ve had some time to relax, spent some time with the family, so there were other elements, but I was always coming back.

"The fans have been patient, the management team have been patient, and I’m happy I’ve through the door again.”
