Unfortunately, it was another week when the awful weather disrupted the Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Trowbridge and District Football League with only four matches surviving the conditions. Those four matches however, produced a remarkable 27 goals between them.

DIVISION ONE

Warminster United are back up to third place in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division One with a comprehensive 6 – 1 win against Freshford United. Ash Caws led the way for Warminster grabbing a hat-trick with two strikes from Liam Flowers and one from Chris Bridel making up the six. A first half effort from Nick Taylor was consolation for Freshford.

Calne Town Reserves excellent form continued with their fourth straight win when they beat Three Daggers 5 – 0, a victory which moves them above their opponents in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division One. Harry Myles and Brett Fairclough started the ball rolling giving Calne a 2 – 0 lead at the break and in the second half Matty Hall, Thomas Stratton and Fairclough with his second secured the points for Calne Town Reserves.

DIVISION TWO

Westbury United Reserves ran out 4 – 3 winners against Calne Eagles in an exciting game in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division Two. Westbury got off to a brilliant start with two strikes from Ollie Dew, one from the spot, George Pawling and Tyler Gain to gain a 4-0 lead before Calne started to fight back with Keiron Gleed reducing the arrears just before half time. In the second half goals from Billy Gleed and Jack Boyd-Cox brought the Eagles back to within one goal. With ten minutes of the game remaining a flashpoint saw Keiron and Billy Gleed dismissed from the field of play with Westbury’s George Pawling also seeing red. Westbury held on to secure the points, a win that takes them just one point behind Staverton United for the second promotion spot, albeit having played two games more than their rivals.

An incredible six goals from Jamie Strevens helped Trowbridge Town Reserves to a 7 – 1 win against Aces FC in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division Two. Dexter Chipeni scored the seventh goal for an in-form Trowbridge Town Reserves who are now five games unbeaten in the league. The Aces consolation goal was scored by Rob Malia.
