SWINDON Town today confirmed Jermaine McGlashan and Toumani Diagouraga have left the club following the mutual termination of their contracts.

After signing for Swindon in the summer of 2018, former Gillingham winger McGlashan made 28 appearances for Town while ex-Brentford man Diagouraga played 16 times in all competitions.

Neither player had featured in league action for Town this season, with Diagouraga being limited to 90 minutes in the club’s EFL Trophy defeat to Chelsea U23s and McGlashan coming off the bench twice – once in the League Cup and once in the EFL Trophy.

Diagouraga was unable to find a loan club in his spell out of the team while winger McGlashan spent the first half of the season on loan at Chesterfield.

Following the news of Diagouraga's departure from Swindon, League Two rivals Morecambe announced they had signed the Frenchman on a deal until the end of the season.

In a statement on the club’s website, Swindon thanked both players for their hard work and professionalism during their time at the County Ground.
