CALNE claimed just a second win of the season in Dorset & Wilts One North last weekend – and did so in style after toppling Chippenham 2nd on home turf.
The result makes it two wins in three games for Calne after they started the campaign with a hat-trick of defeats.
The points garnered over the last month have seen Calne move up to ninth in the 12-team table.
Elsewhere, it was a tough afternoon for Sutton Benger as they went down 33-3 at home to Warminster.
That was just the second time Benger have been beaten in the league this season.
There was also defeat for Minety, who produced a spirited performance away at unbeaten league leaders Frome 2nd before falling 24-12.
Minety’s league record this term now stands at two wins from six games as they sit seventh in the table.
