Adver Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players after their 1-0 win over Stevenage in League Two.

Steven Benda – 7

Was very quick off his line on a few occasions when necessary and was on hand to make a couple of good saves. He seems to be growing in confidence with each passing game.

Rob Hunt – 6.5

Far from back to his best, but defended solidly and supplied the assist for Doyle’s goal.

Mathieu Baudry – 7

Looked solid as a rock for the most part and stepped up when his defensive partner made errors. Headed and intercepted a lot of balls that came in his direction.

Zeki Fryers – 5.5

File this performance in the ‘rusty’ category – Wellens will hope Fryers can regain some form as time goes by.

Dion Donohue – 6.5

Another largely faultless display from Donohue defensively, but his crosses in the attacking third could have been better.

Lloyd Isgrove – 7

One of his better games in recent weeks, he looked much more energetic and supplied several good crosses. Subbed.

Anthony Grant – 7.5

Looked like there was more than one of him on the pitch tonight – Grant was everywhere. Only downside was potentially dangerous tackle that saw him booked. Booked.

Michael Doughty – 6

Got on the ball quite a lot, but a turgid display from his teammates in the first half meant Doughty was unable to do much more than pass backwards and sideways.

Kaiyne Woolery – 4

Did little or nothing right, and it seems like time is running out for Woolery to show Wellens what he can do. With Jaiyesimi regaining full fitness, it looks like Woolery’s days in the side might be numbered. Subbed.

Jerry Yates – 6.5

Touch wasn’t quite as good as it can be tonight, but served as Doyle’s right-hand man well enough. Energy and desire was evident, as usual.

Eoin Doyle – 7

Hustled and harried all game before controlling and volleying the winner superbly to lift pressure off the team and his manager. Booked.

Substitutes:

Diallang Jaiyesimi – 6.5

Looked very lively after coming on and created havoc on a couple of occasions. Will be a good option once back to full fitness.

Gabriel Zakuani – N/A

Came on after the goal and had nothing to do apart from take a wack in the face. Excellent bravery.
