Luke McCormick – 5

No saves of note to from the first half, but claimed balls well. Could’ve pushed initial shot wide before first, was scrambling for second.

Rob Hunt – 5.5

Lost his man before the hosts’ opener, but overall did well. Some great passing, executed a brilliant block too.

Zeki Fryers – 5.5

Controlled elements well – was a calm figure in the back four. Should’ve contained his man before hosts’ opener if being picky.

Gabriel Zakuani - 6

Not at fault for either of City’s goals. Slotted into the team well, particularly given his recent lack of game time. Handy to have.

Ellis Iandolo – 5

Found dealing with the in-form Ismail too hard initially. Was fooled several times. Lost discipline when booked. Better in second half, made some decent runs forward.

Anthony Grant – 6

Really fought hard for the ball in midfield, his presence back in the middle of the pitch was certainly welcome. Motionless in build up to hosts’ winning goal, though.

Lloyd Isgrove – 5.5

His usual strong runs were well dealt with. Passes were at times misplaced. Largely blocked out of the game and frustrated.

Jordan Lyden © - 5.5

Foolishly booked when advancing on a free kick. Great commitment to the cause, but usual flair wasn’t there as Town struggled to counter.

Keshi Anderson - 6

Usual quick runs were absent. Possibly lacking a bit of fitness after a spell out. Subbed at half time.

Jerry Yates – 7

Ineffective on his own up front in the first half, but worked hard. Excellent turn for Town’s only goal - should’ve equalised later on.

Kaiyne Woolery – 6

Squandered a clear chance in the second half when glancing wide. Lost possession too easily at times. Recovered late by delivering good crosses.

SUBS:

Michael Doughty – 6

Commitment can’t be faulted. Passing was okay.

Scott Twine – 5.5

Came on in game’s concluding stages, no great impact.

Adam May – 6

Had the ball in midfield. But made no great impact in limited time.
