The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

ONE TO WATCH: Luke Norris

ALTHOUGH Luke Norris was not a name to ever feature on one of Richie Wellens’ team sheets at Swindon Town, fans will be well aware of the striker’s credentials.

The 26-year-old spent two seasons at Town before leaving in the summer of 2018, having scored 20 goals in 84 games.

He has hit the ground running for Colchester this season, with four goals in 10 games so far.

However, Norris also started the last campaign on fire, netting eight goals up to mid-October but then did not score again all season.

After drawing a blank in each of his last four appearances, Town may well be hoping that another Norris’ drought has already begun.

KEY BATTLE: Ellis Iandolo v Paris Cowan-Hall

SWINDON Town supporters probably did not expect Ellis Iandolo to be their starting left-back a month or so into the season before a ball had even been kicked this term.

However, Iandolo is the man manager Richie Wellens has turned to following an injury to Zeki Fryers – and he has done a superb job over the last three games as Town have won each time.

Iandolo seems to have more physicality about him this season, an attribute that will no doubt come in handy when he prepares for battle against Colchester United winger Paris Cowan-Hall this evening.
