PLAYER RATINGS:

Luke McCormick – 5.5

Distribution was okay. Had no saves of real note to make in the first half. Pretty hopeless position for the first. Second and third let in amid Wellens’ want to push forward.

Zeki Fryers – 6 Had little option but to get forward late on in the game, and was one of two players to get back in time to almost cover the second goal. Hard working.

Tom Broadbent – 5.5

Nervous clearances in defence. Often allowed United to make advances forward by choosing the safe option to put the ball out of play. No major errors mind.

Adam May – 6.5

Worked exceptionally hard in the first half to cut out United’s key passes and broke play up well. Quieter second half performance.

Michael Doughty – 6.5

Was always on the edge of the penalty area to receive the ball and was a major threat to United throughout. Sloppy challenge saw him pick up a yellow.

Jerry Yates – 6

No chances fell to him. But moved the ball around well and his link up play with Anderson was encouraging. Harshly sent off.

Kaiyne Woolery – 5

Squandered more than one chance to put Town ahead, and that ultimately cost Wellens’ side the game. Scoring boots not on.

Dan Ballard – 6.5

Little could’ve been done about the two later goals. Protested prior to the first, convinced it was a goal kick. Strong with his head, encouraging show.

Scott Twine – 6.5

Had a big chance to put Town ahead in the game’s opening minutes, other opportunities to shoot were passed successfully. Okay performance.

Rob Hunt – 6.5

Quiet second half, but was lively and the creator of chances in the first – would’ve been frustrated to see his efforts go without reward.

Keshi Anderson – 6.5

Excellent pace and movement again, but often caught out by his final move and progress subsequently restricted.
