Former Town loanee Elijah Adebayo will be plying his trade in League Two again next season following his permanent move to Darrell Clarke's Walsall.

The former Fulham striker was signed on an initial season-long loan deal by former boss Phil Brown during the summer of 2018.

Adebayo played 30 games for Swindon at the start of last season, scoring five goals, before having his loan agreement terminated by Richie Wellens in January.

After making his final appearance for Town in their 2-0 defeat to Exeter City on New Year's Day, the 6'4 striker went on to join Stevenage for the remainder of the season, but only played two games and was sent off on his debut - a 2-0 defeat away at Tranmere.

With his Fulham contract set to run out on July 1, Adebayo will make his first permanent move of his professinal career when he officially joins Walsall next Monday.
