DETERMINED Jason Doyle will return to British Speedway next week when lining up for Swindon Robins against Belle Vue in the SGB Premiership, the club has confirmed.
Less than a fortnight ago, Doyle suffered a punctured lung and a broken rib following a crash while racing for Polish club Torun in their Ekstraliga fixture against Czestochowa.
The Australian was hospitalised, before returning to the UK to continue his recovery.
Remarkably, Doyle has now declared himself fit to race in Manchester on Monday as Alun Rossiter’s Robins continue their SGB Premiership campaign.
There has been no official confirmation regarding Doyle’s participation in Saturday’s opening Grand Prix in Warsaw, however.
